Date #2 was good. Now if we are counting - that is 2 good dates in a row with the same guy....it seems promising.
Now I should start this off by saying he did postpone date #2 because he wasn't feeling well. He also made the plans last minute by texting me Friday morning for a date that evening...so not a great start. For our date he picked me up and we went to dinner at a great place around the corner from me. Now here is the kicker, well one of them....we had one glass of wine each. That's right folks, we ordered dinner, shared a yummy dessert and only had one glass of wine a piece. What's up with that? I didn't order a second one because when the waiter asked if he wanted another glass he said no. Now I can appreciate the fact that he isn't guzzling down alcohol to enjoy himself, but really? A nice leisurely meal should allow for at least 2 glasses of wine....right? Why not split a bottle? After dinner I thought maybe we would walk along the water or head over to another bar for a drink, but no we went for another drive. This time he took me down this windy road and drove his care like we were on a racetrack...totally fun, but I think I am now over the car.
After the drive we ended up back at my place and when I asked if he wanted a beer or glass of wine he said no all he wanted was to kiss me...I was all good with that. Now here is the second kicker the guy is a Dirty Talker!! Out of no where, and we weren't all that hot heavy at this point, you would of thought he was auditioning for a pornographic audio book. No joke! And let's remember we had only one glass of wine so we were sober. It took everything I had not to laugh out loud. I would share the details, but this is a family site. Use your imaginations and then take it a step further....really!(Sorry Mom!) I am still a bit blown away by the dialogue. He had been so polite and proper I just wasn't expecting it.
He left my place by 11:30pm and even though we hadn't made follow up plans it still looked promising.
One drink maximum again? Dirty Talker?
I like to drink...hmmm
